marc burgess photography - bio

Marc Burgess was born and raised in Nebraska, home of the famous Cornhusker's football team. In 1998, after attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Marc left for Chicago where he successfully pursued a modeling career. Then off to Miami, Milan, Paris, Athens and Barcelona, where more jobs awaited Marc. One of his most treasured moments was having the honor of being shot by Steven Klein. Other highlights include working for G.F.Ferre and Playboy. After a move to the Big Apple, which was love at first sight, Marc continued his studies with a concentration in photography at Brooklyn College, as well as, Laguardia CC. Although New York has become his home base, Marc's career takes him over the pond often.

Without his modeling career, Marc would not have acquired the knowledge and expertise to be the photographer he is. His use of natural light and composition, for example, comes mostly from modeling experience. The industry has given him contacts and opened doors unavailable to others in the field of commercial and fashion photography. Marc's future career is on solid footing, as photography are his life and livelihood.

Clientele list includes Runway Connection, World of Children, MacDirectory, Miami Living, The Puck Review, ID Models, Maxx Men, Ford Models, Ikon, IMTA, FWB movie, American Standard movie, exhibition work and many happy actors and models.
